Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all cats must be vaccinated with at least F3 vaccine. Owners will be expected to present current vaccination certificate before cats will be accepted. Cats must also be wormed and treated for fleas before boarding. If this is not done prior to boarding cats will be treated on arrival at the owners expense.

All cats are welcome to come and stay at Cattingham Palace. If you cat has special needs including medications and/or insulin, please notify at the time of booking to ensure we reserve an appropriate room.

If you cat is taking medication please ensure you have sufficient for the length of your pets stay.

All food and equipment will be provided for your cat. However, owners are welcome to bring any baskets, bedding , toys or grooming equipment that their pet likes, if they wish to.

At Cattingham Palace, we stock Royal Canin biscuits together with a large range of wet and dry cat foods. If your cat has specific dietary requirements please discuss this with Helen.

We also ask if you could please ensure your cat is brought to us and collected in a portable carrier.

Yes, you are welcome to ring at any time while you are away to check in your precious pet.

Please Note: We plan in the future to install video cameras so that you will be able to dial in, and see your cat while you are away.

If you cat appears unwell while boarding at Cattingham Palace, every attempt will be made to contact you prior to seeking veterinary advice. If you use a local vet, I will aim to have your cat reviewed by your usual vet. Veterinary costs will be required to be paid by owners.
